How do I use a water lotion?
It’s easy. If you want to use a water lotion or toner for men as part of your face cleansing process, dampen a cotton pad and gently swipe across the surface of skin. Toners with salicylic acid will exfoliate skin chemically, but using a cotton pad will also offer light physical exfoliation regardless of what formula of water lotion you use.
Not set on exfoliating? If you don’t need the extra exfoliation, face toners and water lotions can be applied without cotton for a boost of hydration. Pour a small amount into the palm of your hands (nickel to quarter size) and press into skin. Remember how Grandpa applied his aftershave? All you need is a little pat, pat.
